Craziness

Things are getting crazy around here...
I haven't posted because I haven't really known what to write. We have been super busy with transition and I haven't taken the time to sit down and write.

• We are in the process of moving out of Grande View.  We put a resignation in to the apartment complex in January and let them know we would continue event planning through June. Well, in March the director of MACC (owners of the apartment complex) decided to do away with our position in all MACC owned apartments. We were told our lease would end May 27th...yes, Memorial Day. To make a long story short, we were supposed to be out May 27th but not we aren't allowed to move into the new townhome we are renting until June 8th. Dilemma. We had no idea where we were going to go for two weeks. The Grande View staff has allowed us to stay here until we are able to move into the new place. PRAISE GOD! The apartment manager that was here when we moved in has recently resigned and moved to North Carolina. There are about to be some major changes around here so I am glad we are getting out now =)

• Packing. Packing. Packing. Ugh. I LOVE unpacking because I can reorganize and get things exactly the way I want them...it's free therapy! =) However, I HATE packing. I have started packing a little bit each day and I just want to toss it all...hahahahaha. Ok, not really.

• Brandon will be FOUR on June 10th. I am planning his first "big boy birthday party" and he is so excited. We are going to have it the weekend after we move which might be a little crazy but that's ok. I have mailed out invitations and done all I can do this far in advance so I don't operate in freak-out-mode the day of his party! =) I can't believe he is almost four. Time flies.

Transition is never easy but sometimes it's necessary. I am so thankful for Nate. Wow. Besides our jobs, it seems like everything around is changing. Nate has remained unwavering while some days I feel like I am drowning in my to-do list. If you know us then that doesn't catch you by surprise but it's what I love about us. =)  I am so blessed to have a husband that loves the Lord and displays His love to me and our boys.

Things are crazy around here but we are taking it a day at a time. For those of you that have been praying for us, THANK YOU!!!
