NINE MONTHS
Dalton turned nine months old on Friday the 22nd. I can't believe it!!!! He has seriously grown up WAY TOO FAST!!!!
He weighs 21.5 lbs (85th percentile) and is 29.5 inches long (90th percentile). It's looking like he might give Brandon a run for his money! =) He is a happy healthy baby boy (besides those annoying ear infections) and I am so thankful for him!!!
He has been on antibiotics for over a month...no joke. Back to back ear infections have kept us at the doctor's office on a regular basis. I am so thankful for a great pediatrician and staff of nurses.
Unfortunately, Dalton ended a round of meds this past Monday and still wasn't better so back to the doctor we went...He had to get an antibiotic shot since none of the meds have worked. His ears are still red (BLESS HIS HEART). We have been referred to an ENT.
GOOD NEWS!!!! We have an appointment with the ENT next Wednesday and will be getting tubes VERY SOON!!! Hopefully this will clear him up and he will feel so much better!!!!

Weekend
We had the best weather this past weekend! It was GORGEOUS!!! Normally, I would pack a picnic for the park or take the boys to the zoo but...
Carson ended up having to go the doctor Friday afternoon for an ear infection and strep throat...poor little guy! =( He has been on antibiotics since Friday and seems to be doing better even though he is still running a low grade fever. Hopefully by tomorrow he will be back to his normal self.
So, I wasn't able to take them to the park or the zoo but I was able to get the other two boys out of the house on Saturday while Nate stayed home with Carson.
WE LOVE ALLIE!! She had a softball tournament so we went to a couple games on Saturday to cheer her on. I had to be at work at 2:00 so around 1:00 I had to start packing the boys up to leave. Brandon was having a BLAST! He was watching the game and had tons of questions for Mr. Brian! =) When it got time to go home he didn't want to leave. So he stayed with Johnna and Brian (Allie's parents) and they brought him home after the last game. He had so much fun!!
Sunday afternoon was awesome!!!! Allie and I went to a local park and hiked on a 2 1/2 mile trail. It was so nice outside and it was a great time for good coversation and quite a few laughs! =)
And it's Monday...again! The weekends never seem to be long enough.

You're Already There
Perfect song for such a time as this...
In a previous post (The Journey posted 1/9/13) I mentioned that we had notified Grande View of our desire to end our position here and begin the journey to the next phase of ministry. Since then things have gotten crazy!
We have been supported by Faith Church but we actually work for MAAC (owners of the apartment complex). We are Resident Activity Programmers and there are people in apartment complexes across the country that have people just like us serving in the RAP program. Unfortunately, they have decided to end the program nationwide. I really feel like God leading us out in January was preparing us for the news that the program was ending. However, we have to be out of our apartment in a month to a month and a half. I mean, we can continue to stay here but we would have to pay full rent and the cost of these apartments is more than we want to pay so...
PRAY!!!
We are praying and seeking a place to live until Nate finds a pastorate job. He has spoken with a church but it was very preliminary and we are not sure where things will go from here.
PRAY!!!
I pray that we act on obedience and not lack of patience. If you know me then you know that patience is not my best attribute!!! I am learning...
PRAY!!!
On 1/18/13, I posted Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct your paths." So here I am. Trusting.
Thanks for your prayers.
His,
Meg
